How to apply
To apply for membership, contact the co-op office by email at [email protected]. You will be invited to participate in our next Open House where you will learn more about our co-op and be able to view a sample of actual units. You will then be able to submit an application for membership.
Applications must be accompanied by ALL the following:
• A non-refundable application fee per applicant (for everyone over the age of 16)
• A completed and signed application form along with all required documents and income verification
• Landlord reference (part of the application form)
The Member Selection Committee, or the co-op office, will contact you to arrange an interview. All household members applying are required to attend the interview. Recommendations are sent to the Board for final approval. You will be notified of the results. Upon acceptance for Membership in the Co-op, you will be placed on a waiting list for a unit (could take a few months or a few years, depending on vacancies). If you move or change your phone number, please make sure to contact the office so that the information on your application can be updated.
PLEASE NOTE: Completed applications are held in order of date received and incomplete forms will be returned for completion, which will delay the rest of the process.
Once you become a member, and are offered a unit, a $5.00 one-time membership fee per adult member, as well as first and last months' housing charge, and a maintenance deposit become due and payable.
